Elastic recognized with 2024 EMA AllStars award for its AI-assisted observability
We are thrilled to be recognized with the 2024 EMA AllStars award. This award acknowledges Elastic’s focus on delivering a full-stack observability solution that provides unified visibility and AI-powered insights into complex hybrid cloud deployments.
The EMA AllStars award celebrates trailblazers and innovators who are reshaping the enterprise technology landscape. EMA lauds Elastic Observability for an approach that not only breaks down data silos but also facilitates a more effective analysis of system and application performance. This recognition underscores our role in pioneering solutions that will pave the way for future advancements in technology management and operational excellence.
Elastic innovations bring new AI capabilities to Observability
As organizations continue to digitize, the distributed nature of infrastructure and applications significantly increases complexity. Operations teams are increasingly looking for unified visibility through a full-stack observability solution that provides the flexibility and scale to ingest and process large volumes of data while providing the capabilities to gain insights.
Elastic's innovation journey in observability has been remarkable, anchored in a platform that embraces open standards, such as OpenTelemetry, and facilitates a holistic and adaptable approach to telemetry data collection. This past year, we've launched significant features, most notably integrating our Elasticsearch Relevance Engine (ESRE) with the new Elastic AI Assistant for Observability. ESRE provides a full suite of sophisticated retrieval algorithms and the ability to integrate with large language models (LLMs) such as OpenAI and others. This accelerates problem resolution, improves analysis of business data, and increases operational productivity.
These innovations provide a fast, contextually relevant search for analysis and a significant number of AI capabilities that discover, predict, and provide prescriptive guidance, accelerating operational efficiency and improving customer experiences.
These AI capabilities include:
AI Assistant, leveraging generative AI and internal business and operational data through ESRE, helping teams respond and interact more fluidly to solve problems using public and private data.
Industry-leading machine learning with 100+ built-in models, and the ability to bring your own models, enables rapid time to insight and incident resolution.
One-click AIOps features allow users to easily utilize anomaly detection, latency correlation, log pattern analysis, log categorization, failure correlation, and more capabilities.
The introduction of a more modern piped query language, ES|QL, further enhances Elastic’s accurate fast search and analysis.
With the introduction of ESRE, these capabilities mark another major leap for observability, offering intuitive, context-aware insights for site reliability engineers and enabling always-on visibility into system performance. These innovations will redefine observability, paving the way for more proactive and efficient management of complex digital systems.
According to Torsten Volk from EMA, “Elastic has made significant strides at providing developers, operators, SREs, and security engineers with actionable, contextualized insights. While generative AI is one of the keys to unlocking these insights, it's the integration of this technology within Elastic's observability suite that truly sets it apart. By leveraging advanced AI algorithms, Elastic Observability intelligently correlates vast amounts of data across disparate sources, transforming raw metrics into coherent narratives. This, along with the AI Assistant, enables teams not only to react swiftly to emerging issues but also to anticipate and mitigate potential problems before they escalate. The result is a more insightful, proactive, predictive system management approach, bolstering operational efficiency and security postures in an increasingly complex digital landscape.”
