replicas
editreplicas
editSummary
editThis command allows you to alter the number of replicas (per shard) for indices matching the specified criteria. This is useful if you would like to reduce your per-node shard count.
Setting this to zero will remove the default redundancy of 1 replica per shard. This is not recommended unless you have first created a backup/snapshot of the indices in question.
Flags
edit$ curator replicas --help Usage: curator replicas [OPTIONS] COMMAND [ARGS]... Replica Count Per-shard Options: --count INTEGER Number of replicas the indices should have. --help Show this message and exit. Commands: indices Index selection.
This command requires the indices subcommand for index selection.
Example
editChange the replica count to zero for matching indices:
curator replicas --count 0 indices <<index selection parameters>>
