replicas

edit

Summary

edit

This command allows you to alter the number of replicas (per shard) for indices matching the specified criteria. This is useful if you would like to reduce your per-node shard count.

Setting this to zero will remove the default redundancy of 1 replica per shard. This is not recommended unless you have first created a backup/snapshot of the indices in question.

Flags
