The 3.8.2 release contains fixes for potential security vulnerabilities. Please see our security advisory for more details.

Fixed system cluster 8.x upgrades. Fixed a bug where system clusters couldn’t be upgraded to 8.x during an ECE upgrade if data attributes were added to Elasticsearch nodes (for example via a custom deployment template).

Remove daily data streams. The index templates for cluster-logs, proxy-logs, service-logs, metricbeat, and allocator-metricbeat were changed to generate data streams in ECE 3.8.0. This PR updates Beats templates to remove the appended -%{+yyyy.MM.dd} suffix so that we don’t create daily indices.
