It is time to say goodbye: This version of Elastic Cloud Enterprise has reached end-of-life (EOL) and is no longer supported.
The documentation for this version is no longer being maintained. If you are running this version, we strongly advise you to upgrade. For the latest information, see the current release documentation.
Add App Search user settings
editAdd App Search user settings
editThis functionality is in beta and is subject to change. The design and code is less mature than official GA features and is being provided as-is with no warranties. Beta features are not subject to the support SLA of official GA features.
Change how App Search runs by providing your own user settings. User settings are appended to the app-search.yml
configuration file for your instance and provide custom configuration options.
Be aware that some settings could break your cluster if set incorrectly and that the syntax might change between major versions. Before upgrading, be sure to review the full list of the latest App Search settings and syntax.
To add user settings:
- Log into the Cloud UI.
-
On the deployments page, select your deployment.
Narrow the list by name, ID, or choose from several other filters. To further define the list, use a combination of filters.
- From your deployment menu, go to the Edit page.
- At the bottom of the App Search section, expand the User settings overrides caret.
- Update the user settings.
- Click Save changes.
If a setting is not supported by Elastic Cloud Enterprise, you get an error message when you try to save. We suggest changing one setting with each save, so you know which one is not supported.
